Journalist Award Ceremony by Valsad Patrakar Welfare Association was held in the presence of Surat Additional DG Mr. Dr. Rajkumar Pandian, District Collector Mr. R. R. Rawal, District Development Officer Arpit Sagar and District Superintendent of Police Dr. Rajdeep Singh Zala.
 On this occasion, Dr. Rajkumar Pandyan said that in a democracy, the media cannot be ignored.  The media has also been an important contributor to the freedom struggle.  The media also plays an important role in India’s democracy.  Government is not possible without newspapers. The positive and negative aspects of the administration need to be presented to the media at the right time. He said that the attitude of the media should be with the people in mind.


 Valsad Collector Shri RR Rawal said that journalism is a religion of the society.  Today’s program is an excellent example of the unification of journalists and public welfare. Journalism has been around for ages.  Over time, that is likely to change.  Journalism should be positive and conscientious.  It is the responsibility of journalists to fulfill their social responsibility. The search for truth is not even sensational. The search for truth is a social responsibility.  Congratulations to the Patrakar Welfare Association for establishing the social responsibility of duty as well as journalism.
 District Development Officer Arpit Sagar explained the importance of media and said that the system is a bridge between the people and wished them well.


The dignitaries also felicitated about forty organizations which have made a name for themselves in various fields and have fulfilled their social responsibility during the Corona period.
 At the commencement of the program, Mr. Harshadbhai Ahir, President of Valsad Welfare Association, in his welcome address, explained the purpose of the program. In the end, thanksgiving ceremony secretary Apoorva Parekh thanked Judge Dilipsinh Kshatriya, Devendrasinh Panjarolia, Parul Mahadik, Shailesh Trivedi & anchor Shrikant Kanojia, Dipti Patel & Saima Pathan. He also thanked all the participants for making the idea of ​​holding the awards ceremony a reality.Media personnel and city dignitaries were present on the occasion.
