A 12-team open tennis cricket tournament was organized at Sardar Patel Stadium in Valsad. The Legend Cricket Cup was attended by international tennis players from Kutch, Mumbai, Nashik, Panvel, Baroda, Ahmedabad and Surat. The tournament provided a lot of entertainment to the sports lover people of Valsad.
The final match of the Legend Cricket Tournament was played between Mobile World valsad XI and Tandel XI. Tandel XI was given a target of 60 runs in the first innings. In response, Mobile World XI scored 60 runs in 7 overs to achieve a big victory.
Tahir Qadri, Hemant Sawaria, Arshad Desai, Hidayat Kavla and other committee members worked hard to make this tournament a success.
The winning team in the final match was given a check of Rs 1 lakh by Munawar Garcia. The runner-up was given Rs 50,000 and the trophy by Monil Vansia.
