In a commendable initiative, Raktadan Kendra Valsad, in collaboration with the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT), organized a blood donation camp on 21 February 2025 at the Income Tax Offices in Valsad (Palak Arcade) and Navsari. The event, held under the guidance of Shri U.B. Mishra, Principal CIT Valsad, and Shri Ajay Soneji, JCIT Navsari, took place from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM and saw enthusiastic participation from staff, officers, and the general public.The camp was part of a nationwide campaign to promote blood donation and was conducted in association with Valsad Raktadan Kendra. A total of 78 donors from Valsad and Navsari contributed to this noble cause, demonstrating their commitment to saving lives. Shri Italia, Chairman of Valsad Blood Center, and Dr. Kamal Patel, MD, visited the camp to oversee the proceedings. They provided detailed information and guidance to participants, addressing common fears and misconceptions about blood donation. Their efforts helped create a positive and informed environment, encouraging more people to participate.The event was a resounding success, showcasing the spirit of community service and social responsibility. Such initiatives play a crucial role in strengthening healthcare systems and saving lives. The organizers expressed their gratitude to all donors, volunteers, and officials who contributed to making the camp a meaningful and impactful event.
