Mahyavanshi Women’s Premier League Season-2: Hariya Women’s Eleven Emerges Champions


The Mahyavanshi Samaj organized a cricket tournament, “Mahyavanshi Women’s Premier League Season-2,” for their women at the Gymkhana ground in Valsad. The tournament was organized by Ankit Lakkad, Hiral Patel, Poonam Lakkad and other women.

Six teams from the Mahyavanshi Samaj participated in the “Mahyavanshi Women’s Premier League” cricket tournament: Abrama Queens, Lilapar Warriors, Mora Bhagda 11, The Titans, Women’s Army, and Hariya Women’s Eleven.

The final match was played between Lilapar Warriors and Hariya Women’s Eleven. Hariya Women’s Eleven won the toss and elected to bat first. They scored 59 runs in 6 overs. In reply, Lilapar Warriors could only score 52 runs in 6 overs, making Hariya Women’s Eleven the champions.

Bhaviniben Hariyawala, the captain of the winning team Hariya Women’s Eleven, was awarded the trophy and medal by Nimishaben Dangana. Ankita Lakkad, the captain of the runners-up team Lilapur Warriors, was awarded the trophy and medal by Nidhiben Patel.

Kaushalbhai Jakhiya of Mora Bhagda made arrangements for the lunch. The Mahyavanshi Women’s Premier League was a great success due to the hard work of the women, brothers, elders and youth of the community.
